Appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert: Sanjay Gupta / Denis Villeneueve (2021). I just watched all 9 episodes and my favorite was the 6th, Gganbu. Not perfect and not a masterpiece, but it’s very well done and provides a certain level of emotional experience. The overall show was much bigger than the things that were shown in the trailer. Very well directed, acted and finding its own unique points from a mix of genres from various references like Gambling Apocalypse: Kaiji, Battle Royale, etc. I just hope everyone else enjoys this show, not just in Korea but everywhere! Ps. Even for Korean ears, VIPs’ English dialogues were not well written or performed. I think the drama could stand quite well without their presence and save the budget.
